Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney in Federal Way, Washington. This role involves managing a caseload of high-value cases, providing comprehensive legal services from inception to resolution. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, promoting a balanced work-life environment.

Duties

  • Manage a caseload of 20-25 high-value cases from start to finish.
  • Lead depositions, arbitrations, or trials and meet regularly with clients.
  • Deliver exceptional client service throughout the case management process.

Requirements

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in Washington state with plaintiff-side experience.
  • Completed 3+ first chair bench/mandatory arbitrations or 2+ second-chair jury trials.
  • Familiarity with local and state court rules.
  • Ability to independently manage a simple MVA trial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathy for clients and a passion for helping those with catastrophic injuries.

Education

  • JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in Washington state.

Skills

  • Strong communication and detail-oriented approach.
  • Client-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with case management software, especially SmartAdvocate, is a plus.
  • Multilingual abilities are highly valued.
