Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior Intellectual Property Associate to join its Intellectual Property Litigation, Trademarks, and Patent Team in Miami. This position offers a unique opportunity for a lateral associate to be part of a dynamic and growing team.

Duties

  • Assist in patent preparation and prosecution.
  • Support trademark and licensing matters.
  • Collaborate with team members on various intellectual property cases.

Requirements

  • One to two years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
  • Admitted in good standing to a state Bar, with preference for NC and/or SC.
  • Registered patent attorney with the USPTO.

Education

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering.

Certifications

  • Admission to a state Bar.
  • USPTO registration as a patent attorney.
