Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Handle depositions, client meetings, and witness preparation.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations.
• Assist lead counsel in trial preparation and act as second chair during trials.
• Analyze case files, develop legal strategies, and provide counsel to clients.
• Manage deadlines, court filings, and compliance with procedural requirements.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Missouri.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal advocacy and courtroom presence.
• Litigation or trial experience is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Missouri State Bar (required).
