Job Title: Labor And Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in Sacramento, CA, is currently seeking a motivated associate attorney with a strong foundation in labor and employment law. The ideal candidate will bring between 2 to 5 years of focused experience in this field and possess an active license to practice law in California. Duties:

  • Represent management-side clients in labor and employment matters

  • Handle a variety of litigation tasks, including discovery, depositions, pleadings, and motion practice

  • Advise clients on employment law compliance and risk management

  • Draft and review employment agreements, workplace policies, and handbooks

  • Participate in administrative proceedings and negotiations

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy development and case management

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal labor regulations

  • Support clients in preventative counseling and workplace investigations

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of dedicated experience in labor and employment law

  • California State Bar license in good standing

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and in teams

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

  • Experience with litigation processes and court procedures

  • Familiarity with administrative forums such as the EEOC and state agencies

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must hold an active license to practice law in the state of California
