Litigation Attorney

Job Overview
A growing law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its team. The attorney will work on a variety of existing and new litigation matters, managing all aspects of litigation including fact investigation, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, pretrial and trial work. The role offers an opportunity to develop case strategies, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the firm's overall success. A hybrid work environment is available, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong office presence.

Duties

• Develop and execute case strategies for ongoing and new litigation matters
• Manage all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, pretrial, and trial work
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure successful case outcomes
• Participate in depositions, court appearances, mediations, and potentially trial or arbitration
• Develop legal arguments and conduct legal research as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
• Member in good standing of the California State Bar
• 3–7 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on civil litigation
• Excellent communication, writing, and case analysis skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to manage a diverse caseload
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Bachelor's degree required

Certifications

• California State Bar (Required)

Skills

• Strong litigation experience, including handling depositions, court appearances, and trials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and legal analysis abilities
• Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues in a team environment
