Duties

• Evaluate and assess personal injury cases through legal research and client interviews

• Review intake documents, medical records, treatment history, liens, and other relevant case materials

• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the pre-suit process

• Negotiate and settle personal injury claims with insurance carriers for maximum value

• Draft legal documents including demand letters and case summaries

• Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and internal staff

• Supervise legal support staff and maintain strong team coordination

• Coordinate claims reviews, legal research, and client benefits

• Handle medical bill negotiations and resolve related liens

• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings when necessary

• Monitor developments in relevant legal areas and adjust case strategies accordingly

• Participate in networking or business development as opportunities arise

• Submit regular progress and status reports to firm management

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law

• Proven success managing high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to guide clients through complex legal and medical issues

• Skilled in negotiation and client advocacy

• No history of malpractice or disciplinary actions

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license in good standing with the Florida Bar (Required)
