Duties

  • Navigate franchise agreements, disclosure requirements, compliance issues, and dispute resolution.
  • Represent franchisors, franchisees, manufacturers, and distributors in licensing activities.
  • Handle offering documentation, including franchise disclosure documents and registrations.
  • Draft franchise agreements and related documents.
  • Advise on compliance and handle governmental inquiries.

Requirements

  • Portable book of business required.
  • 7 years of expertise in franchise law.
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law required.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Client-service approach and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities and multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
