Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Project Finance Associate specializing in renewable energy to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves handling debt and tax equity financings, as well as development and transactional work for renewable energy assets, including solar, wind, and storage.

Duties

  • Structure, negotiate, and close construction and term debt facilities and tax credit monetization transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate various financing and partnership agreements.
  • Manage due diligence and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and execute financing transactions, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Requirements

  • JD and active bar membership in good standing.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in debt and tax equity project finance and M&A.
  • Proven ability to manage transactions independently and drive closings.
  • Strong grasp of tax equity structures and partnership tax concepts.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
