Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in San Francisco, CA. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on personal injury or plaintiff-side cases.

Duties

  • Litigate cases from intake through resolution, including depositions and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Manage discovery and case strategy with supervising attorneys.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure they are informed and supported.
  • Present arguments in hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  • Provide guidance to legal staff and collaborate with team members.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of legal experience, preferably in personal injury or plaintiff-side litigation.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions and preparing cases for litigation.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong judgment and professionalism.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) and/or defense-side experience is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
