A law firm in Lakeland, FL, is seeking a dedicated Associate Litigation Attorney to assist in a busy family law practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in family law and, preferably, be admitted to the Florida Bar. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in representing clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property division.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client representation.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed.
  • Negotiate settlements and provide legal advice to clients on family law issues.

  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience in family law is preferred.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a high caseload and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Florida Bar is preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
