Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, focusing on construction defects and general liability defense.
• Manage a caseload independently while working closely with colleagues and other legal professionals.
• Handle depositions and courtroom appearances, advocating on behalf of clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal documents, including motions, briefs, and case reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic legal advice and support.
• Collaborate within a team to share knowledge, resources, and experience to achieve successful case outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• Proven experience in civil litigation, ideally within a law firm environment.
• Strong courtroom presence with experience taking depositions (trial experience is a plus).
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a team.

Education:
