Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Overland Park, KS, to support its creditors' rights practice. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a collaborative legal team.

Duties

  • Represent clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
  • Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Attend court hearings in person and virtually.
  • Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
  • Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Kansas (Missouri licensure is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
  • Multi-state licensure, bankruptcy, or collections experience is advantageous.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Kansas (Missouri a plus).
