Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Leveraged Finance Associate to join its Global Finance Group in Los Angeles. The role involves working on leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, refinancings, and restructuring-related financings.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Lead financing transactions for borrower and lead arranger clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience with syndicated lending or private credit/direct lending.
• Experience representing borrowers or lead arrangers.
• Strong background in sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred.
• Admission or eligibility for admission to the bar in California.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of California.

Skills

• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead complex financing transactions.
