Duties:

• Handle a dynamic caseload of criminal defense matters from intake through resolution

• Develop and execute defense strategies tailored to each client’s case

• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and argue court hearings as needed

• Negotiate with prosecutors to achieve favorable settlements

• Maintain proactive and responsive communication with clients throughout their case

• Appear in court regularly to advocate on behalf of clients

• Collaborate with legal support teams to ensure timely case progression

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

• Prior experience in criminal defense is preferred

• Willingness to work with a broad range of clients facing various criminal charges

• Interest in courtroom litigation and negotiation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
