A law firm seeks a mid-level Attorney to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice group in Atlanta, Georgia. Duties

  • Draft, design, and negotiate executive employment and compensation arrangements.
  • Structure equity and other incentive programs.
  • Manage compensation and benefits issues in corporate transactions.
  • Counsel on compensation-related disclosure and corporate governance.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor and licensed to practice law in the state of employment.
  • Familiarity with tax issues under the Internal Revenue Code and employee benefits laws.
  • Experience with IRC Sections 409A and 280G preferred.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and collaborate effectively.
  • Superior communication, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Preferred: Experience in a law-firm setting with executive compensation and employee benefits.
