A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in litigation, with a strong emphasis on research, writing, and attention to detail. Experience with law and motion, discovery, trial support, writs, and appeals is preferred. Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document review, production, and depositions.
  • Provide trial support by preparing witnesses, drafting trial materials, and assisting with trial strategy.
  • Handle law and motion practice, including filing and arguing motions in court.
  • Prepare and file writs and manage appeals, including drafting appellate briefs and petitions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
  • Maintain case files and manage deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • 2-6 years of experience in litigation.
  • Experience with law and motion, discovery, trial support, writs, and appeals is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality legal research and writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and manage time effectively.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting of legal documents.
  • Strong litigation and courtroom skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts.
  • Experience with trial preparation and appellate practice.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
