Job Overview:
A well-established law firm, based in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a junior or mid-level associate attorney to join its vibrant Community Associations practice. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and strong organizational, writing, and client relationship skills. The position offers significant courtroom exposure and requires a self-driven individual with the ability to work independently.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters related to community associations

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

• Prepare and manage cases from inception to resolution, including depositions and trial preparation

• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and strategic guidance

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal solutions

• Handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality work

• Participate in depositions and trial appearances as needed

Requirements:

• Strong litigation experience, with a desire for courtroom exposure

• Ability to manage cases independently and work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organizational, writing, and client relationship skills

• Currently admitted to practice in Virginia and Washington, DC

• Maryland Bar admission is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Virginia and Washington, DC Bars

• Maryland Bar admission preferred but not required

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and research skills

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
