Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The role involves consulting with and representing insurance carriers in coverage analysis, opinions, and coverage/bad faith litigation. This position does not involve PIP litigation or representing insureds in litigation.

Duties

• Analyze and resolve complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings and motions.
• Take depositions and argue motions.
• Provide excellent client service.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in insurance coverage or complex litigation.
• Experience in all aspects of civil litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good standing in and active membership of the State Bar of Michigan.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the State Bar of Michigan.
