Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Roseville, CA, with experience or interest in family law. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, committed, and articulate, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

Duties

• Conduct initial client meetings and perform legal research.
• Handle assigned cases from start to finish, including drafting pleadings and declarations.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Attend law and motion hearings, depositions, and evidentiary hearings/trials.

Requirements

• Experience in family law preferred.
• Ability to draft declarations, memoranda of points and authorities, and respond to pleadings.
• Understanding of California Rules of Court, Family Code, Evidence Code, and Code of Civil Procedure.
• Experience with electronic case management systems and Microsoft Office 365.
• California Bar License required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar License.
