Attorney - General Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Attorney specializing in General Liability for its Philadelphia, PA office. The ideal candidate will have over five years of litigation experience and demonstrate strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills. The role requires the ability to manage a litigation caseload independently and work effectively within a team.

Duties

• Manage cases from inception to post-trial.
• Communicate with clients to keep them updated on case status.
• Make court appearances and participate in mediation.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Prepare, review, and respond to discovery.
• Conduct research as required by each case.
• Conduct direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses at trial and in depositions.
• Meet billing requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of General Liability litigation experience.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Experience with depositions, mediation, and courtroom proceedings preferred.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently.
• Strong positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
