Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Litigation Attorney to join its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office in a hybrid capacity. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of civil litigation experience, focusing on automotive product liability within the General Liability & Casualty Defense Practice Group.

Duties

• Manage cases proactively from start to finish in state and federal courts.
• Draft pleadings, written discovery, motions, and conduct research.
• Communicate frequently with clients and provide detailed reports.
• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations.
• Prepare for and attend trials.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• 1-3 years of civil litigation and General Liability experience in state and federal courts.
• Ability to manage a large caseload proactively from start to finish.
• Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage and work in a team environment.
• Strong research, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to client development.

Education

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
