Litigation Associate - Product Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join the Product Liability Practice Group in Cleveland, Ohio. The successful candidate will manage cases from inception through trial preparation and contribute to strategic case management.

Duties

• Handle day-to-day tasks and strategic case management processes.
• Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
• Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings.
• Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports.
• Assist in trial preparation, including strategy, discovery, and witness preparation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of litigation experience in toxic tort, asbestos, or pharmaceutical and medical device matters.
• Extensive deposition practice with witnesses, parties, and experts preferred.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Ohio law license required.
