Duties

  • Represent clients in a range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and modification cases

  • Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda

  • Conduct legal research and draft case strategies

  • Attend court hearings, pre-trial conferences, and trials across Massachusetts

  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure efficient case management

  • Maintain strong, empathetic client relationships throughout the case lifecycle

  • Manage and grow a personal caseload with support from experienced legal professionals

Requirements

  • Prior experience in family law preferred, but attorneys at all stages of their careers will be considered

  • Ability and willingness to handle a full caseload of family law matters

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts

  • Availability to travel to various courts within the state as required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Massachusetts Bar admission
