Duties

• Assist clients in acquiring and disposing of industrial, commercial, retail, and medical properties.
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases.
• Facilitate real estate closings efficiently.
• Understand tax increment financing and property tax abatement procedures.
• Manage transactions from inception to completion.
• Develop and expand a personal book of business.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to obtain admission in the State of Iowa promptly.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active attorney license.

Skills

• Strong academic background.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
