Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Associate Attorney in Los Angeles, CA, with experience in personal injury, products liability, employment, and other consumer-oriented cases. The ideal candidate will support lawyers in various legal matters and contribute to trial preparations.

Duties

  • Assist in all phases of discovery and trial preparations.
  • Analyze and apply case law and public law to current matters.
  • Litigate cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
  • Draft and review employment agreements, contracts, and company policies.
  • Manage concurrent assignments and multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Work independently and make reasoned decisions.
  • Engage in client-facing interactions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in personal injury, employment law, and products liability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate degree.

Certifications

  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills

  • High level of organization and ability to prioritize.
  • Self-directed learner.
