Senior Trial Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Trial Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury litigation, including first-chair trial experience. This role involves leading litigation and trial strategy from filing through verdict, supervising associates, and engaging directly with clients.

Duties

• Serve as lead litigator on catastrophic injury and high-exposure cases.
• Develop and execute tailored litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions, manage expert testimony.
• Attend mediations, negotiate settlements, and try cases to verdict.
• Ensure procedural compliance and meet court deadlines.
• Supervise and mentor associate attorneys and paralegals.
• Maintain direct client communication regarding case progress.
• Collaborate with the Pre-Litigation team for seamless case transitions.

Requirements

• J.D. and active California Bar license in good standing.
• 7+ years of litigation experience, including first-chair jury trials.
• Proven track record of successful trial outcomes.
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation strategies.
• Experience in high-exposure matters preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
