Job Title:
Remote Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in McClellan, CA is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This fully remote role focuses on various legal domains, including collections, commercial real estate, creditor rights, insurance recovery, and general civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, sound legal judgment, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to a high-performance legal practice.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and sign pleadings, motions, and correspondence

  • Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda

  • Respond to discovery and manage case files through the litigation lifecycle

  • Represent clients in court during hearings, including law and motion proceedings

  • Participate in case strategy meetings and negotiations for dispute resolution

  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate and timely legal services

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in California (mandatory)

  • Must be in good standing with the California State Bar

  • Licensure in additional jurisdictions (Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, New Mexico, or Massachusetts) is a plus

  • Demonstrated experience in litigation, preferably in collections, real estate, or creditor-side representation

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Availability for a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar admission (required)
