Senior Immigration Attorney (Partnership Track)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Immigration Attorney for a partnership track position in Manassas, VA. The role involves representing clients in various immigration matters, including court appearances and client interviews, with opportunities for advancement.

Duties

• Provide legal representation for detained and non-detained clients seeking relief.
• Represent clients in Immigration Court and local state courts for custody and SIJS hearings.
• Prepare clients for interviews with USCIS, DOS, and Asylum Office.
• Manage follow-up with potential clients post-intake and evaluate eligibility for legal relief.
• Train and supervise support staff on legal matters and practices.
• Handle administrative responsibilities related to casework, including filings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admission to the bar of any U.S. state; VA bar is a plus.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in immigration law.
• Proficiency in Spanish, both written and oral, is a plus.
