Job Overview:
A highly experienced personal injury attorney is sought to join a dynamic legal team in downtown Dallas. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in personal injury law, capable of managing a busy litigation docket and providing exceptional legal counsel to clients.

Location:
Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Understand laws and statutes applicable to personal injury cases.
  • Provide clear legal counsel to clients, explaining processes and potential outcomes.
  • Build strong attorney-client relationships based on trust and effective communication.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including discovery, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Serve as first chair attorney during trial preparations and proceedings.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progress.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Texas.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience with a focus on personal injury law.
  • Proven track record of successfully litigating personal injury cases.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities.
  • Leadership qualities with a capacity to mentor junior attorneys.
  • High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Texas State Bar membership.

Skills:
