The role involves assisting clients with various family law matters, including paternity, guardianship, juvenile delinquency, emancipation, custody, child support, adoption, dissolution, and divorce.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Draft and review written discovery, including e-discovery.
• Draft, respond to, and argue motions.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions.
• Appear in court and mediations.
• Communicate efficiently with clients.
• Provide strategic legal advice and problem-solving.
• Market legal services to prospective clients.
• Generate and distribute billable work.
• Maintain a respected reputation among legal peers.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Admission or eligibility for bar admission in the practicing state.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the practicing state.
