Duties

• Draft legal documents including contracts, wills, pleadings, and motions.
• Provide advice on estate planning, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury claims, and workers' compensation cases.
• Assist clients with immigration processes and compliance with tribal laws and regulations.
• Engage in litigation processes for various cases including securities law and patent law.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation within the law office.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar association.
• 10 years proven experience in criminal defense; family law experience is a bonus.
• Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting required.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct effective legal research.
• Prior experience in a law office setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients.
