Intellectual Property Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney in Indianapolis, IN or Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of solid trademark and/or patent experience to join the firm's expanding patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and intellectual property litigation practices.

Duties

• Engage in patent prosecution and/or trademark prosecution.
• Participate in intellectual property litigation.
• Develop and manage a personal book of business.
• Collaborate on projects for the firm's existing client base.
• Provide high-quality work and timely client service.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Proven track record in the intellectual property space.
• Excellent interpersonal and client interfacing skills.
• Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state.

Skills

• Strong trademark and/or patent prosecution skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
