A leading litigation firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 2–3 years of experience in medical malpractice to join its team in Springfield, MA. Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a personal caseload from inception through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda

  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials

  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies

  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and strategic recommendations

  • Collaborate with partners, associates, experts, and clients to achieve favorable outcomes

  • Adhere to deadlines and maintain detailed case documentation

  • Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings as needed

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation

  • Proven ability to draft and argue dispositive motions

  • Experience managing cases and preparing legal documents independently

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and legal ethics

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar

  • Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
