Duties:
Manage a personal caseload from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and strategic recommendations
Collaborate with partners, associates, experts, and clients to achieve favorable outcomes
Adhere to deadlines and maintain detailed case documentation
Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings as needed
Requirements:
2–3 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation
Proven ability to draft and argue dispositive motions
Experience managing cases and preparing legal documents independently
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to client service and legal ethics
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
