Senior Associate Attorney - Family Law

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney with substantial Family Law litigation experience to join their Orlando, FL office. The role involves leading a diverse caseload, including contested and uncontested dissolutions, paternity and custody disputes, child support modifications and enforcement, domestic violence injunctions, and DCF/shelter proceedings.

Duties

• Lead all aspects of case management and litigation strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with paralegals.
• Appear in court regularly for hearings, trials, and conferences.
• Communicate proactively with clients and opposing counsel.
• Help maintain and elevate the firm's high standards for professionalism and client care.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Family Law litigation experience.
• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Empathetic communicator with excellent client management instincts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Filevine, and Lead Docket.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Board Certification in Marital & Family Law (preferred but not required).
