Job Overview:
A leading plaintiff-side medical malpractice law firm with a statewide practice is seeking a seasoned Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its Beverly Hills/West Hollywood office. This position is ideal for a highly motivated litigator with substantial experience handling complex personal injury and medical negligence cases. The ideal candidate will be prepared to independently manage a robust caseload and contribute to high-level trial preparation and advocacy.

Location:

  • Beverly Hills, California

Duties:

  • Handle a full caseload of complex personal injury and medical malpractice litigation

  • Conduct case investigations, legal research, and liability analysis

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial briefs

  • Take and defend depositions of expert and lay witnesses

  • Prepare for and participate in court hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Collaborate with team members on trial strategy and case management

  • Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and co-counsel

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation

  • Proven success in managing plaintiff-side litigation from intake through trial

  • Demonstrated trial-readiness and courtroom presence

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment

  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial preparation skills

  • Excellent legal research and analytical abilities

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Skilled in managing multiple cases and deadlines with precision
