Job Overview

A highly regarded family law firm based in Marin County is currently seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in family law. Location

Duties

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

  • Represent clients in court proceedings with professionalism and preparation

  • Negotiate family law settlements, including property division, custody, and support arrangements

  • Participate in mediations and hearings as needed

  • Meet with clients to assess needs, explain legal rights, and develop case strategy

  • Maintain accurate records, manage caseload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience practicing family law

  • Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active California Bar license (required)
