Job Overview

Duties

  • Provide counsel and legal services to clients while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Participate in business development activities to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Travel to meetings with prospective and current clients as needed.
  • Apply legal knowledge to effectively counsel clients on business issues and regulatory matters.
  • Communicate with opposing attorneys to expedite case resolutions.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare necessary legal documents for litigation.
  • Appear at hearings and trials as required.
  • Draft and review tribal codes, regulations, and agreements.
  • Maintain continuous client interaction.
  • Comply with court and state bar licensure obligations.
  • Adhere to firm policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited university.
  • Relevant state bar licensure.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Completion of a personality assessment.
  • Submission of a writing sample.
