Job Title: Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm located in Salt Lake City, UT, is actively seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of experience to contribute to its expanding legal team. This role provides exposure to both litigation and transactional matters, with close mentorship from seasoned partners in a collaborative, growth-oriented setting. The position is suited for candidates who are licensed in Utah and passionate about developing their legal careers in a supportive, in-person environment.

Duties:

• Assist partners with a variety of litigation and transactional legal matters

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and contracts

• Participate in discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Support transactional work, including drafting agreements and reviewing legal documents

• Collaborate across practice areas and contribute to the firm’s ongoing matters

• Maintain a high level of professional ethics and client confidentiality

• Manage multiple assignments with efficiency and strong organizational skills

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of post-law school legal experience

• Active license to practice law in the State of Utah

• Demonstrated ability to handle litigation and/or transactional assignments

• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Utah State Bar

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and document drafting

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
