Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm based in Naples, FL, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in litigation and a demonstrated ability to manage cases independently. The position offers a dynamic caseload with opportunities for courtroom experience and strategic advocacy. Representation of community associations is beneficial but not required. This role is being recruited through a legal staffing agency on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Duties:

• Manage litigation matters from initiation through resolution

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Prepare and argue dispositive and procedural motions

• Participate in mediation and settlement discussions

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Assist in the preparation and participation in bench and jury trials

• Maintain detailed and timely billing records

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Florida

• 1-3 years of litigation experience

• Familiarity with courtroom procedures and confident public speaking skills

• Prior experience managing multiple litigation matters concurrently

• Solid understanding of civil procedure and motion practice

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar (Required)
