Duties:

• Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and agreements

• Perform detailed legal research and prepare strategic case analyses

• Maintain active and ongoing communication with clients to develop case strategies

• Identify and cultivate areas of personal practice interest with encouragement from firm leadership

Requirements:

• Currently licensed to practice law in the state of New Mexico

• 3-5 years of hands-on litigation experience, preferably with an emphasis on family law

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active matters

• Self-driven professional who collaborates well in a team-oriented setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Mexico State Bar (mandatory)
