A law firm seeks a Plaintiff Trial Attorney Team Leader in Corpus Christi, TX. This role involves overseeing a team of trial attorneys and legal staff, ensuring high-quality case development and client-centered results. The position requires a seasoned trial attorney with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in personal injury litigation.

Duties

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 4-6 attorneys and their support staff.
• Ensure thorough case development from intake through trial or resolution.
• Oversee client meetings, strategy discussions, and case evaluations.
• Draft and send demand letters; negotiate settlements.
• File lawsuits and manage litigation processes.
• Issue and respond to written discovery; review medical records.
• Conduct motion practice and court hearings.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions; prepare for trial or settlement.
• Supervise all cases, ensuring timely task completion and quality work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 personal injury jury trials (Plaintiff or Defense).
• Proven experience with Texas personal injury law, including pre-litigation, litigation, and trial.
• Active Texas Bar license.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
