Job Overview:
An established estate planning law firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in estate planning, probate, and business law, with a passion for providing excellent client service. Location:

  • Boerne, TX

Duties:

  • Draft legal documents, including Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorneys, Probate Pleadings, and related transactional matters.
  • Provide client-facing legal advice and guidance in estate planning, business planning, and probate matters.
  • Assist senior attorneys with case management and client interactions while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations impacting clients or the firm's practice areas.
  • Manage a personal caseload and ensure efficient case management.
  • Participate in client development through business networking groups, community events, and continuing education.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar of Texas.
  • Experience or coursework in estate planning, probate, or business law is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Clio or other web-based practice management tools and WealthCounsel drafting software is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar of Texas.

Skills:

  • Estate planning, probate, and business law expertise.
  • Legal document drafting and case management.
