Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Data Privacy Associate with 2 to 3 years of experience to join their Denver, CO office. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative data privacy matters, gain significant responsibility, and engage directly with clients alongside experienced privacy attorneys.

Duties

• Advise on cross-border data transfers and compliance with evolving privacy laws.
• Provide product counseling and guidance on cookies and adtech.
• Draft and revise privacy notices and data protection impact assessments.
• Assist with compliance issues related to CCPA, GDPR, and other global privacy laws.

Requirements

• Admission to practice law in Colorado with excellent academic credentials.
• 2+ years of experience in data privacy legal advice.
• Proven record of exemplary client service and superior communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Colorado Bar.

Skills

• Deep familiarity with major global and U.S. data privacy laws.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and comfort with ambiguity.
