Job Overview

A law firm seeks a team-oriented senior associate or junior partner to join the Energy Practice Group in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear regulatory law and experience with regulatory compliance, project transactions, and environmental permitting.

Duties

  • Appear before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
  • Manage licensing and relicensing of nuclear power projects.
  • Oversee site planning for nuclear facilities.
  • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Advise energy-sector clients on legal matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in nuclear regulatory law.
  • Proven experience with regulatory compliance and project transactions.
  • Strong background in environmental permitting.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Colorado.
