A law firm seeks a Plaintiff Trial Attorney Team Leader in Irving, TX. This role involves overseeing a team of trial attorneys and legal staff, ensuring effective case management and client satisfaction. The position requires a seasoned trial attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation and leadership skills.

Duties

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 4-6 attorneys and their support staff.
  • Ensure comprehensive case development from intake through trial or resolution.
  • Oversee client meetings, strategy discussions, and case evaluations.
  • Draft and send demand letters; negotiate settlements.
  • File lawsuits and manage litigation processes.
  • Issue and respond to written discovery; review medical records.
  • Conduct motion practice and court hearings.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions; prepare for trial or settlement.
  • Supervise all team cases, ensuring timely and high-quality legal work.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 personal injury jury trials (Plaintiff or Defense).
  • Proven experience with Texas personal injury law, including pre-litigation and trial processes.
  • Active Texas Bar license.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and case management.
