Job Overview:
A full-service law firm specializing in creditors’ rights is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Attorney for its Cincinnati, Ohio office. This position involves managing high-volume foreclosure matters, making court appearances, and supporting the legal process for default servicing clients across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in foreclosure law and be licensed in Ohio or Kentucky, with additional state licenses considered a strong asset.

Location:

  • Cincinnati, OH

Duties:

  • Draft and review pleadings related to foreclosure proceedings

  • Make court appearances on behalf of clients in relevant jurisdictions

  • Provide comprehensive legal support in foreclosure and creditors’ rights matters

  • Work within a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment

  • Communicate with clients, courts, and legal staff regarding case progress

  • Collaborate with a legal team using advanced legal practice technology

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in creditors’ rights and foreclosure law

  • Active and in good standing with the Ohio and/or Kentucky Bar

  • Licensure in Indiana and/or West Virginia is preferred but not required

  • Background in real estate law and title work

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines consistently

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to legal case management software

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Bar license in Ohio and/or Kentucky (required)

  • Licensure in additional states (IN, WV) considered an advantage

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing and courtroom presentation skills

  • Excellent time management and organizational capabilities

  • Ability to handle a high caseload efficiently
