Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Commercial Leasing Associate in Orlando, FL. This role offers the chance to engage with sophisticated clients in the dynamic data center and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of experience in commercial leasing, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating leases and related agreements.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate commercial leases and related agreements.
  • Handle transfer consents, lender subordination agreements, work letters, and SNDAs.
  • Address development issues related to power, water, and fiber-optic infrastructure.
  • Engage in zoning, entitlements, and permit processes.
  • Collaborate on service level agreements and data center projects.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of commercial leasing experience.
  • Experience with data center construction and financing preferred.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Am Law 100 firm experience required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of the resident office location.

Skills

  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
