Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in personal injury litigation within California and will manage cases from intake through trial or resolution.

Duties

• Defend and conduct depositions as part of case development.
• Manage all aspects of individual cases from intake to resolution or trial.
• Prepare trial materials and participate in trial proceedings.
• Represent clients in court during hearings and motions.
• Draft law and motion documents to support litigation strategy.
• Conduct legal research and produce legal memoranda and briefs.
• Compose professional correspondence to clients, counsel, and the court.
• Analyze and summarize discovery requests and responses.
• Draft notices and objections aligned with case objectives.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
• Conduct and defend expert witness depositions.

Requirements

• Active membership and good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation in California.
• Proven track record in conducting and defending depositions.
• Trial experience, including first- or second-chair participation.
• Knowledge of California Civil Procedure.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar License.
