Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Intake Attorney in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves engaging and signing clients in areas such as wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, workplace retaliation and harassment, unpaid wages, and wrongful termination.

Duties

  • Determine the viability of potential cases.
  • Promote the firm's strengths and capabilities to potential clients.
  • Manage client expectations and secure client agreements.
  • Communicate with clients regarding concerns and case progression, including nights and weekends.
  • Travel to meet and sign clients.
  • Guide potential clients through the intake process.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury or employment law.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with a proven ability to close.
  • Empathetic yet persuasive communication style.
  • Familiarity with pre-litigation and litigation processes in personal injury and employment law.
  • Ability to commute to the downtown Los Angeles office at least three days per week.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • California State Bar license.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in managing client relationships.
