Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Class Action Counsel, Case Evaluation attorney to join their team remotely, with a focus on wage and hour and class, collective, and representative actions. Duties

  • Partner with local trial teams for fact investigation and exposure assessment.
  • Draft answers, corporate disclosures, and initial disclosures.
  • Analyze potential for removal and prepare related documents.
  • Conduct comprehensive case evaluations and exposure analyses.
  • Provide information for efficient case team transitions.
  • Support litigation phases, including class certification and settlement.
  • Act as liaison between trial teams and Class Action Counsel team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of legal experience in relevant actions.
  • Experience with wage and hour litigation, including FLSA and California Labor Code.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and damages modeling.
  • Active bar license in the candidate's state of residence; California preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the candidate's state of residence.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
